Patrick Moran returned home to Crossna, Co. Roscommon, after his imprisonment in Frongoch Camp on 4th August 1916, and was asked by James Feely, the O/C of the 1st Battalion, North Roscommon Brigade, for an account of where he had been during the Easter Rising and afterwards.
