Informs recipient that he does not know anybody in the Berger-Levrault publishing house but will write. Expresses his joy that the [painting] "Chinerie" is in the Nancy Gallery as it is one of the most visited outside Paris and suggests she could choose some of the notes [from Eugène's diary] to add to the "Lettres". Also mentions Chevrillon, Senator Henry Bérengé and the painting "Contemplation".
