Mentions a letter he received from the "prince A de Hohenlohe" and quotes part of it regarding hopes to find the "jeune artiste". Mentions Mr Schneegaus and asks recipient to reply directly to him. Author agrees with idea of translation into German and praises "Lettres d'un Soldat" and the recipient. Mentions [Hippolyte] Taine.
