Easter. In second line, calm and idle. Giving himself wholly to Destiny. Feels he has been "inférieur" the passed month and asks for her love; enquires if she has received his photograph (MS 8,751/4/1) and gives the name and address if she wants more : Mr Schnetzler in a Nice Hospital.

There is an illustration in colours on the front of the postcard, on the upper half, centred : six flying flags of the allies, three on each side of Victory, standing on a globe "pro patria" and banner "gloire aux alliés". There is also a drawing of a military commander [probably Joseph Joffre] on top right hand corner. There is a drawing of a flower below the central illustration [a poppy?] and the words "je suis avec vous" printed upwards.
