Includes a letter to the press rebuking the claim that the first donation received for the Irish White Cross was from the New York Society of Friends; letters from Douglas to Cardinal Logue, the Archbishops of Tuam, Cashel and Dublin relating to funds for the Irish White Cross as well as a letter to the Archbishop of Tuam about setting up parish committees and the distribution of funds. Also contains a letter from the Dublin branch of the Relief Committee of the Religious Society of Friends; a copy of a cable sent from L. Hollingsworth Wood relating to the extension of the truce with a reply from Douglas about the truce and the work of the Irish White Cross.
