Contains one letter dated 12 April 1627 to James Lombard [d.1652] from the Augustinian friars in Cork thanking him for his donation and assuring him that the required conditions will be performed, for a related item see MS 49,545/72 [Folder 6]. Includes correspondence addressed to Philip Cross relating to legal affairs, letters of James Lombard [d.1798] relating to estate business, also includes letters to the Rev. Edmund Lombard, Edmund Lombard of Castlemartyr as well as other miscellaneous correspondence including several letters of the Moore family, including Daniel and John William Moore related to legal matters. Also contains copy legal correspondence from the firm of Hone and Falkiner. Letters are arranged chronologically.
