Writes "Ter [Terence MacSwiney] will be quite a cosmopolitan in a short while. If he could only serve in the Tower of London, Sing Sing, the Black Hole of Calcutta and Burwash, I don't think he would miss the Bastille. What is he in jail for anyway? .. It must be very lively for Muriel. However, there are good times ahead for us all. Self-determination is worth going to jail for, or dying for if need be. Only we must do the determining."
