Contains several legal opinions concerning the landholdings of the Smyth family, as well as a writ granting possesion of land in St. Ann's parish in Cork city to Robert Dower, dated 28 November 1814. Also includes a note from Richard Smyth dated 30 October 1834 to the jailer of County Waterford jail to take custody of William Savage accused of murdering his wife in Templemichael. Also contains 'rules to be observed when distraining cattle for rent,' c.1815 and notes on a conversation which took place at Ballynatray respecting the lands of Templemichael held under lease of Richard Musgrave to Samuel Freeman, late of Youghal, between Captain Armstrong of Templemichael and Mrs. Smth of Ballynatray and the Rev. Grice B. Smyth, 23 December 1830.
