Meath, covering the years 1785 to 1945, notably Caroline Hamilton, Charles William Hamilton, Charles Robert Hamilton, Gerard Francis Charles Hamilton and his wife Violet Hamilton. The papers shed light on the Hamilton family's connections with the Tighe and Ponsonby families, their employment as land agents to the dukes of Leinster, their own personal interest in horticulture and gardening and their own thoughts and impressions on contemporary Irish politics.
