Letters from Sir William Orpen to his father, Arthur Herbert Orpen,

Seven of these letters were written in 1901 and concern Orpen's impending marriage and describes his fiancée, Grace Knewstub, her family and his financial position. The remaining three letters were written in 1917 and depict his experience as a war artist.
