Lily O'Brennan papers include Erskine and Molly Childers, Muriel MacDonagh, Dorothy MacArdle, Alice Stopford Green, Alice Milligan, Dora Sigerson Shorter, Jack B. Yeats. Also, papers re Cumann na mBan and account of her involvement in 1916 Rising. Drafts of historical and literary works, including The Call to Arms published in 1929 with the pseudonym Esther Graham.

Kathleen O'Brennan died at her home at 44 Oakley Road, Ranelagh, Dublin after a brief illness and was to be buried in Dean's Grange cemetery.
