| Description: | O'Brennan requests the return of 'Leading a dog's life in Ireland', as well as the manuscript of 'The adventures of Smooth-the-Ways Fairy' which was sent on in error by her sister, Kathleen. She writes "I was naturally very sorry to hear that the old dog was coming back from the Kingdom without his green ticket, but understand, only too well, what a disasterous year this has been for publishers, and thank you very much for all the efforts you have made on my behalf". |
