Description:Ford describes how his "little section" was surrounded by Japanese forces for nearly two years, and how the soldiers destroyed neighbouring churches and killed priests; he also describes the post-war shortage of food and supplies, and how he has "enjoyed the rough conditions" and his involvement in a local International Relief Assocation branch.
