Description: | Letter from Mac Crosain at St. Mary's, The College, Maynooth to "A Cheanntach". Mac Crosain wishes to borrow a set of Scotch and Irish pipes for a play, due to be performed on December 8. Having unsuccessfully applied to two places, he now asks Cumann na bPíobairí "as a last resource". He explains that they must borrow the pipes until after the play, requiring them for "a good deal of practice", and welcoming Ceannt to attend the play should he wish. |
