Images documenting the architecture and social life of modern Belfast, also covers other areas in Antrim and Down, dating from 1990 to 1996. Historic buildings such as; Belfast Castle, Queen's University, City Hall, Stormount, Ulster Museum, St. Anne's Cathedral and churches like Fortwilliam Park and St. Mary's Church. Other buildings include shopping centres, colleges, banks, new buildings under construction, hotels such as the Europa, hospitals like the Royal Victoria, and other commercial and industrial sites viewed from most of the main Belfast city streets. Other images record, street trading at St. George's Market, people at work, for example: Workmen at work on the Lagan Weir. Includes politicians and visits of foreign dignatories. Additional subjects include monuments and memorials such as the Titanic Memorial in City Hall grounds, bridges like the Albert Bridge, ships and the dockland area, parades and festivals. Part of the colour print collection consists of murals of the period including, for example: Our Lady / Child, Falls Road; Time for Peace, Whiterock Road; Queen Victoria, City Hall; Ulster Freedom Fighters mural, Newtownards Road.
