I. The humble petition of the gentlemen, and other of the inhabitants of the countie of Cornwall. II. An order from the Commitee, that eleven thousand three hundred horse should be conducted by Sir Simon Harecolt into Ireland.
As also, letters read in the Parliament, sent from the Mayre of Dublin and other justices of the peace, how Tredagl is besieged and Dublin in great feare of the rebels. As likewise the Spanish fleet overthrown in the sea, going to assist the rebels in Ireland. In a relation of a great uumber [sic] of Spaniards that were resolved to go into Ireland, and helpe the rebels to persecure the Protestants there more cruelly. Being the just judgement of God on those bloudy minded tyrants, shewing how in a suddaine tempest they were all drowned in the devouring sea. With the copy of a letter sent from the Spanish fleet to the Lord Donmadoffe the arch-rebel in Ireland.

the humble petition of divers recusants and others in the county of Lancaster, that they may be received into His Majesties protection, and have their arms re-delivered to them, for the defence of His Majesties person, and their families. Together with His Majesties commission to Sir William Gerard, Baronet, Sir Cecill Trafford, Knight, and other His Majesties subjects, recusants, in the same county, charging and commanding them to provide with all possible speed, sufficient arms, for the defence of His Majesties person or them, against all force raised by any colour of any order or ordinance whatsoever, without his Majesties consent. True nevves from Cork. :
Being the copie of a letter sent from thence to Master Oliver Daniell citizen, inhabitant in the borough; from his brother, now resident in Cork. Wherein is declared the severall proceedings of the Protestant armie, from the fifth of May, to the 12. 1642. Likevvise, a true and reall intelligence of a great insurrection made by the papists in Cork, on the 7. day of this instant moneth. With a declaration, how by the valour and approved courage of my Lord of Cork, and Sir Thomas Moor, they were appeased, disarmed, and their store and munition seized on, for the use of our English. Also many other remarkable passages, concerning the heroick actions of the Earl of Ormond, Sir Charles Coot, Sir Christopher Loftus, Captain Marro, and the Protestant army in the neweries. Whereunto is annexed, another remarkable passage; concerning Oneal late prisoner in the Tower.

Declaring the prosperity of the Protestant party, and the disastrous proceedings of the adverse Irish rebellion. Jn [sic] the besiege of Wicklow. The Earle of Kildare and the Lord Thomond. Slew Sergeant Major Bromlus. Captaine Thosby. Captaine Lothon. The Lord Plunket wounded in the left legg. Jn the siege of Colerane. The Earle of Baremore the Lord Brabeston, and E. of Eastmeath. Slew the Lord Freeman and 1300 more rebels. The L. Scane being taken prisoner In the besiege of Kingsaile, the Earle of Fingale the Lord Donbengen. The Lord Astry. were overthrowne, By the Earle of Ormond. The Lord Pore Earle of Valentia. Earle of Kildare. Approved, good, and happy newes from Ireland :
relating how the castle of Artaine was taken from the rebels, two of their captaines kild, and one taken prisoners by the Protestants. With the arrivall of 2000 foot, and 300 horse from England. Also a great skirmish betweene the Protestants and the rebels at a place neere Feleston, wherein the English obtained great renowne and victory. Whereunto is added, a true relation of the great overthrow which the English gave the rebels before Drogheda sent in a letter bearing date the 27 of February. to Sir Robert King Knight at Cecill house in the Strand. Printed by order of Parliament.

A most damnable and hellish plot exprest in three letters against all Protestants in Ireland and England :
sent out of Rome to the chief actors of the rebellion in Ireland, to animate and stirre them up, June 20. 1642. The first letter was sent by Bonaventure ô Conny to Phelim Roe Neal, the second by Francis Mac Guyre to Connor Mac Guyre, the third by Francis Farrell to Sir Phelim O Neal; shewing their zealous affections and wicked advice to their bloody proceeding. Whereof the first two were written in Irish and now translated into English, and laid open to the view of the world. Read in the honourable House of Parliament, and ordered to be printed.
