Méric Casaubon

He was the first to translate the ''Meditations'' of Marcus Aurelius into English.

Although biographical dictionaries (including the ''Encyclopædia Britannica'' Eleventh Edition) commonly accentuate his name to Méric, he himself did not do so. Provided by Wikipedia
