Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Mr. [Edmund] Kean's last benefit. On Monday next, June 12th, 1820, will be revived Otway's Tragedy of Venice Preserved..:
To conclude with (for the first time) an entirely new farce, written expressly for this occasion, entitled 'The Admirable Crichton'. Crichton, Mr. Kean in which character he will give imitations of some of the most celebrated performers; and will also attempt various accomplishments in which "the admirable Crichton’ is represented to have excelled including singing, dancing & fencing...In Act I a grand masquerade in which Crichton will personate Harlequin an Mr. O'Shaugnessy will make his first and only appearance in public, in a display (with Mr. Kean) in the Assault Des Armes [weapons assault/display]. An occasional prologue will be spoken by Mr. Russell. Tickets and places for the boxes to be had of Mr. Kean, 12, Clarges Street, Piccadilly, from twelve till three o'clock and of Mr. Rodwell, at the Rotunda, Brydges Street, from ten till four. Boxes 7s. Pit 3s.6d. Low Gallery 2s. Upp[er] Gallery 1s. Doors open at half-past six o'clock, and the performance commence at seven.
